  • Welcome to the SC/ST/Minority Cell page of Tolani College of Arts and Science, dedicated to promoting equity, inclusivity, and support for students belonging to SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), and Minority communities. Under the guidance and leadership of our Chairperson, Dr. Sushil G. Dharmani, and Co-ordinator, Prof. Ramesh Deshmukh, along with our esteemed members Prof. Mahendra Siju and Prof. Rizwan Ghumara, the SC/ST/Minority Cell at Tolani College is committed to ensuring a conducive and empowering educational environment for all.

About SC/ST/Minority Cell

  • The SC/ST/Minority Cell at Tolani College of Arts and Science aims to facilitate the holistic development and welfare of students from marginalized communities. We strive to create awareness, provide support services, and advocate for the rights and interests of SC, ST, and Minority students within the college community.

Key Objectives

  • Support Services: Offering guidance and assistance to students from SC, ST, and Minority backgrounds to help them integrate into college life and excel academically.
  • Scholarship Assistance: Facilitating access to scholarships and financial aid opportunities available to eligible students from these communities.
  • Awareness and Sensitization: Organizing workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns to promote understanding, respect, and inclusivity among students, faculty, and staff.
  • Counseling and Mentoring: Providing counseling and mentoring support to address academic, personal, and career-related challenges faced by SC, ST, and Minority students.
  • Advocacy: Advocating for the rights and welfare of SC, ST, and Minority students, and working towards creating a supportive and discrimination-free environment on campus.
