About NSS at Tolani College

  • Since its inception over five decades ago, NSS has been a cornerstone of our institution’s ethos. It serves as a platform where students learn beyond the confines of classrooms, actively contributing to the betterment of society through various initiatives.

Activities and Initiatives

  • Our NSS volunteers engage in a diverse range of activities aimed at community development and environmental conservation. These include:
  •  Tree Plantation Drives: Contributing to the green cover of our surroundings by planting trees and promoting environmental sustainability.
  • Cleanliness Drives: Organizing cleanliness campaigns in local areas, promoting the importance of sanitation and hygiene.
  • Voter Awareness Campaigns: Educating community members, especially youth, on the significance of voting and democratic participation.
  • Health Camps: Organizing health check-up camps and awareness programs on important health issues in collaboration with Red Cross Society and Lion’s Club, Gandhidham.
  • Blood Donation Drives: Encouraging voluntary blood donations to support local healthcare needs.
  • Skill Development Workshops: Conducting workshops to impart skills that empower individuals for sustainable livelihoods.
  • Awareness Programs: Raising awareness on social issues such as gender equality, literacy, and environmental conservation.
